About Sarah

Hey! Thank you for visiting. I'm the energetic, reinvent the wheel and fail over and over again kinda gal. After thirty two years of doing it myself I decided I was going to put my life in God's hands and follow Him. You know the Amy Grant song I have Decided to Follow Jesus? That's where I'm at! I've decided to follow Jesus and there is no turning back. You caught me at an interesting time. I've given up my apartment and sold all my stuff to move across the pond for love. Turns out the only love worth having is God's love and I'm still in New York... Handing on His hem with everything I have. I have no idea what His plan is for my life, but I'm determined to find out. I'm the guy who shows up at midnight knocking on His door asking for bread. I need it and I'm not going anywhere until He gives it to me.

Onion Ginger Hair Growth Mask

This mask is also great for people who suffer from dandruff. It’s so easy if you have a juicer. If you don’t, it’s ok, blender works too.

1 medium white onion

3 inch piece of ginger

juice together, or blend then use a cheese cloth to get the juice separate from the pulp. I wouldn’t put the pulp on the scalp. It will be too difficult to take out of the hair.

Keep in a sealed glass container for up to a month. Use a tablespoon at a time with your fingers, or a large makeup brush to apply to the scalp.

Spaghetti Squash Casserole with Vegan Option

1 Medium Spaghetti squash

1 cup (three stalks) kale

2 cups tomato sauce

1/2 Cup Ricotta

8 oz. sliced fresh mozzarella

1/2 cup sautéed mushrooms

salt, pepper

1 tbsp. of Italian parsley

Bake squash on 350 till tender to a fork. Allow it to cool then spoon the meat into a bowl, break it up with your hands, or a fork then add it to an oiled pan on low. Allow it to cook on medium until the squash is lightly browned. Lay the squash at the bottom of casserole pan. Spread it out flat then cover all the squash with a layer of tomato sauce. Add the mushrooms then a layer of ricotta cheese mixes with the parsley. Spread a layer of mozzarella cheese then the kale. Cover

the kale with the rest of the tomato sauce and the mozzarella cheese.

Bake on 350 until cheese is melted. Enjoy.

Vegan option, omit the cheese and use extra tomato sauce.

Pumpkin Yum Juice

4 cups of pumpkin. You can peel the skin off if your juicer is weaker or leave it on if it’s tough. In the summer and spring you can use squash instead.

2 large carrots. Don’t peel them.

Moisture Hair Mask

1 tbsp aloe gel
1tbsp castor oil
2 tbsp meadowfoam seed oil
1 egg yoke
1/4 tsp Red Sea salt

Blend until smooth with a blender or a fork. Apply to your hair and cover with a plastic bag or any head cover. I’ll leave it on overnight and wash the next day.

People with curly hair will be happy using meadowfoam seed oil as a leave in conditioner on it’s own.

The recipe is for long hair. Shoulder length or shorter ought to cut the recipe in half.

Wer and Wif

The word “man” may have roots in old Indo-European terms for “to think,” and the word man may have been meant to mean “one who thinks.” Some linguists disagree on these origins.
Before “man” was used, Old English used the words wer and wif to distinguish the sexes (wer being man, wif being woman). That’s why “werewolf” basically means “man wolf.” But the word “man” replaced wer around the late 13th century
Interestingly, up until about 1000 years ago, the word “man” was originally gender neutral, so that’s a recent development

Best Hot Dogs Ever

I know, not healthy! However, that balance I was talking about yeah that. In Belize outside of the night clubs people have hot dog carts with these hot dogs. Not Sabretts of course.

  1. 1 pack of Sabretts, they are the best.
  2. 1 medium size tomato cubed
  3. 1 medium yellow onion sliced
  4. 1 tbsp of soy sauce (better quality, gluten free)
  5. Mayo, make your own, it’s easy
  6. Ketchup
  7. Gluten free or non GMO wheat rolls
  8. 8 strips of bacon
  9. 1 tbsp coconut oil
  10. 1 tsp of salt
  11. 1 tsp of pepper

Wrap hot dogs in bacon, place on a large cookie sheet in a 350 degree oven for. Place onions in a saucepan on medium with 1 tbsp of water and a coconut oil cover with a lid and allow to sweat. Once tender remove the lid add salt, pepper and soy sauce. Check hot dogs to move them around. Tost rolls, spread mayo on the roll, add hot dog then cover with onions, tomato and ketchup.
